Sights and sounds from surroundings comfortable,
spur memories in surmise, until the glass is full.
Been there, seen that, leaves me with a smile,
transporting me to places, I’ve not see in a while;
hills and valleys upon arrival, now I am level.

Yay! Another winner. I like the new layout. No distractions, allowing the words to breathe.

Hi, are you’ll accepting shorter versions of verses only with themes of children now? I had a few pieces I thought I could send in.
